La Faya 2010 Festival Raffle

La Faya 2010, organised by the Cultural Historical Association of Rodriguans and Mauritians in Victoria (C.H.A.R.M) will take place on 28 March 2010 at Federation Square, Melbourne. The festival seeks to promote the rich, diverse and colourful culture of people from the Indian Ocean islands of Mauritius, Rodrigues and Seychelles. This year’s festival will have a more colorful and multicultural program that reflects the diversity of people in Victoria.

The costs involved in bringing this event to the community keeps growing each year. The festival budget is around $40,000, that is, if we wish to ensure we have the right equipment, staff, cleaning, insurance, publicity, marketing and other related costs. To finance this event we need to raise additional funds required with our main fundraiser, the Festival Raffle.

We know you all have your own worthwhile causes and important projects to look after; we support and encourage this. However, we make a special appeal to everyone to support us. Please assist CHARM by selling a few raffle books so you can positively contribute to bring our communities together.
